An Islamic extremist who boasted of killing seven people to strike back at France died Thursday after jumping from his window, gun in hand, in a fierce shootout with police, a French minister said. Three explosions are heard near the apartment of terror suspect, accused of killing three Jewish children, a rabbi and three French paratroopers. Standoff between French school shooting suspect Mohamed Merah and police still continues. He was arrested in Afghan province of Kandahar in 2007 for making bombs but broke out of jail months later after a daring Taliban prison break, the director of prisons in Kandahar. At some point Trayvon felt he had to run and, he did, running down the cut through between the apartments Trayvon was able to get out of the eyesight of George Zimmerman, once out of the eyesight of George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin chose a near by patio porch and hid from Zimmerman, never expecting Zimmerman to continue down the path between the apartments. And if Zimmerman had listened to the dispatcher, Trayvon would have been right, but Zimmerman didn't. He continued between those apartments searching for Trayvon Martin, adamant that he was not going to let Trayvon get away. A gospel rendition of the hymn by Moore. I used 16', 8', 4', 2-2/3', 2', 1-3/5', and 1' flute stops along with tremulant in imitation of the Hammond Organ. The resemblance is much more effective in person; the microphone and preamp didn't preserve the effect as well as I would've liked. In any case, gospel organ is one of my favorite things to do ever.

1985 - Hear 'n Aid : An All -Star Album For Famine Relief / Hear 'n Aid was a one-time collaboration of various individual heavy metal/hard rock artists in 1985 to raise money for famine relief in Africa.According to Ronnie James Dio's MySpace profile, the project raised $1 million within a year.While attending a 48 hour charity Radiothon at the radio station KLOS, Dio members Jimmy Bain and Vivian Campbell noticed that representation from hard rock or heavy metal stars was low. In light of the success of Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas?" and USA for Africa's "We Are the World", they forwarded an idea to Ronnie James Dio, also attending the Radiothon, and together decided to create a similar project exclusively built around artists from the hard rock/heavy metal scene.Together the three co-wrote the song "Stars."The song was recorded on May 20 and 21 1985 at the A&M Records Studio in Hollywood, California. The project included contributions from Ted Nugent, Yngwie Ma! lmsteen, Tommy Aldridge and members of Dio, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Quiet Riot, Dokken, Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister, Queensrÿche, Blue Öyster Cult, Vanilla Fudge, Y&T, Rough Cutt, Giuffria, Journey, WASP and Night Ranger as well as the parody band Spinal Tap. They'll slow the pace and play every possession through senior forward Mike Scott (18.1 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 56.2 percent shooting). The ACC Player of the Year runner-up, Scott has a powerful inside game, a smooth touch out to 18 feet, and a sweet stroke from the foul line (81 percent). Scott needs help, however, which makes senior guard Sammy Zeglinski (198 career 3-pointers) the x-factor. UVa went 0-5 against the ACC's top three teams.
