Journey of a Lifetime (poem)

Journey of a Lifetime (poem)
This is the most recent of the poems I've written please forgive my stumbling over words, and having to read from the pages etc... If you like my poems and stuff be sure to subscribe I've got more coming (eventually) Setting out to take part in some crazy adventure you take the first reluctant steps out you front door the path before you lies obscured in a shroud of mystery you bid farewell to all that you are leaving behind with no knowledge of the challenges that await you you do not know if you can last until the end yet somehow those uncertain thoughts fail to bother you now with your friends by your side you will never fail with each day of your travels you are growing stronger the flesh on your feet getting thicker all the time despite the constant nagging soreness of your body you have never had more fun in your whole entire life you now begin to truly see the world around you finding details that until now were overlooked you start to appreciate the grand beauty of l! ife your senses resonate with the whole of the world challenge after challenge arise for you to face them with each new battle fought you emerge triumphant even when you fail you learn more and thus you win your goal ever so slowly now comes into view between you and your goal one final opponent stands the mastermind of all the tasks you faced before at this point there is no more chance of turning back you have come much to far to be giving up now you leap into the crushing fray of brutal battle this ...

Taste and See

Taste and See
A gospel rendition of the hymn by Moore. I used 16', 8', 4', 2-2/3', 2', 1-3/5', and 1' flute stops along with tremulant in imitation of the Hammond Organ. The resemblance is much more effective in person; the microphone and preamp didn't preserve the effect as well as I would've liked. In any case, gospel organ is one of my favorite things to do ever.

Love Bites ~Jemi~ A Twisted Tale Of Romeo & Juliet- #3

Love Bites ~Jemi~ A Twisted Tale Of Romeo & Juliet- #3
PREVIOUSLY: I was almost completely out of it when I felt someone pick me up. I tried to move my head to see who but it was no use. My eyelids grew heavy as the person started walking with me still in their arms. Soon everything faded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Romeo is banished. There is no end, no limit, measure, bound, in that word's death. No words can that woe sound." - A quote from Romeo & Juliet ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I woke up in a bed. Not my bed. The place had a strange vibe to it that I couldn't explain. I sat up and realized that the pain was gone. Was it all a dream? No.. If it was I wouldn't be shirtless with a bandage wrapped around my waist. I went to get up but fell on my ass. "Where am I?" I asked myself, completely confused and not sure if I was dreaming or dead... something like that. "Oh, you're awake. That's good." The man said with a straight face. I jumped. Holy shit! That guy just came out of nowhere! "W! ho are you?" I asked, trying to hide my fear. He shook his head with a smirk. "A simple 'thanks' would be nice. The name's Paul. Paul Wesley. You were pretty beaten up.." He motioned towards my bandage. "Would you care to tell me why my head is pounding and my throat is burning like the depths of hell?" I said kind of cold. I didn't want him to think I was weak. He nodded and handed me a small mirror. "This might startle you.." I took the mirror and looked up at him, confused as to what I was supposed ...
